Rebuilding SERVERIZZ from the ledger upNow
Usage billing with an append-only ledger, a new website and design system, and an AI support agent that went live on Oct 19. Each one has a case study.
About · Austin, TX
I've spent eight years on Apple's front line and more than ten running SERVERIZZ, a hosting company here in Austin. Both taught me the same thing: the person on the other end of a system doesn't care how clever it is. They care that it works, and that someone thought about them.
These days I turn web, infrastructure and payments problems into specs, data models and working software, with AI as my build partner. I'm open to teams in any industry where that's the job.

The path so far
I started a hosting company before I joined Apple, and I've kept both going since. One taught me how systems are built. The other taught me who they're for.
At SERVERIZZ I'm the one deciding how billing works, where card data lives, and who gets the call when a server goes down. At Apple I've been the person a customer reaches when a product doesn't do what they expected: in a support queue, on a store floor, and in chat.
So every spec I write starts from that second seat. Who's on the other end, what will they see, and what will the person helping them need to know?

How I work
I write the plan down before anything gets built: the problem, the data, the edge cases, and what I chose not to do. Everyone works from it, the AI included.
Anything that touches a balance is append-only and safe to rerun. A correction is a new entry, never an edit, so the history always adds up.
Claude Code writes a lot of first drafts. I review every change against the spec, and the spec is what catches it when the draft gets something wrong.
Billing and the new website are live and rolling out in stages. Small, reversible steps beat one big launch day when real customers are on the other end.
Also mine
A merchant services agency I founded. As an authorized Maverick Payments sales agent, I set up merchant pre-screening and referrals on TSYS and Fiserv/Clover processing. It's how I learn payments from the side of the business taking the card.
My gaming and streaming brand. I built its identity and an animated broadcast package, with contrast ratios documented for every color. The look of this site started there.
